MapExecutor: A Dynamic Enactment Support to Specify and Execute Methods with Maps

This paper present a novel Dynamic Enactment Support to Specify and Execute Methods with the process model called Map. Maps describe the intentions that can be achieved in a process, strategies to achieve these intentions, and possible orders of intention achievements. When the user has selected the intention he wants to achieve along with the strategy he wants to use, the corresponding method tools and guidelines are proposed to support him in an active way. In addition, a specification of the process for enacting Maps is presented. Being itself a process, it is specified as a map called the Navigational Map. It offers several strategies for navigating from one intention to another while enacting a Map. Finally, the MapExecutor architecture and this implementation are described.
